Award-winning Home Builder Whiteburn is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive individual to join our Client Liaison team at our new developments in Lauder and Peebles.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, with Sundays and Mondays as your days off. You would be a key part of a small team on site.

You will be offered comprehensive head office-based training in our Edinburgh office for an initial period.  The training will include training on the CRM systems, training on the Whiteburn Way Customer Journey, and visiting other developments to better understand our homes and specification.

We are looking for someone who enjoys building great relationships, managing the end-to-end reservation process and working to clear targets alongside the site construction team.  If you thrive on delivering excellent customer service, and love to see happy homeowners get the keys to their new home, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

About the Role

As a key part of our sales and customer journey team, you’ll be the welcoming face for visitors to our sales area and show home. You’ll be selling to, and thereafter, supporting new home purchasers, every step of the way, from first enquiry through to move-in day — and beyond.

This role would suit someone with experience in new homes sales, or a confident, process-driven communicator with excellent customer service, who’s ready to learn and grow in a rewarding environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming visitors to the sales area and managing all enquiries
• Selling new homes to clearly defined and set targets
• Building a professional relationship with all clients during their home buying journey
• Being the ‘face’ of The Whiteburn Way
• Working closely with our senior team to manage the sales of lovely new homes
• Supporting Whiteburn clients with their choices for their tiling, kitchens, flooring, etc.
• Actively managing and working closely with the construction team for Clients key meetings – Introduction meeting, welcome meetings, home handover, and follow-up check-ins
• Supporting homeowners with follow-up aftercare and assisting with the use of our  dedicated customer ‘Fixflo’ portal
• At Whiteburn we use dedicated digital technology.  You will use CRM systems to support our sales processes from enquiries, reservation to handover, allowing us to deliver clear, professional communication throughout each purchasers journey
• Liaising with Property Solicitors and Mortgage Advisers to ensure consistency of each customer’s sales journey throughout the ‘Whiteburn Way’
• Working closely with our Site Team to keep clients fully supported during their sales journey and the build process of their new home
• Carrying out general admin/housekeeping
• Ensuring that the presentation of our sales office and show home are kept well presented
• Contributing ideas towards sales and marketing campaigns, website updates, and social media posts

You’ll often be working independently on site, and will always be supported by our friendly wider team.

Full training will be provided, including guidance on our Whiteburn processes and systems, together with the Consumer Code for New Homes.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong IT and telephone skills, and a genuine desire to help others.  A friendly, professional manner and a solid work ethic are essential.  Full training on our systems, processes and brand will be provided, so you’ll be well supported from day one.

Working Hours

• Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm
• You’ll have Sunday and Monday off once the training / induction period is over
