March Street – Boiler house and engine house
As part of our plans for a vibrant mixed use regeneration of the former March Street Mill we have sought to retain the key historic Boiler House and Engine House for commercial use. These buildings are unique in the character and offer the opportunity for a bespoke business space in the heart of Peebles. The Engine Shed was latterly used as a museum by the Mill, storing pattern books and samples, many of which are now in the Borders Textile Towerhouse preserving the heritage. The Boiler House housed the three large boilers for the Mill, these has all been stripped out as part of our enabling works for the sale of the buildings.
We are now marketing these buildings with local agents Cullen Kilshaw and Allied Surveyors, we hope they will be of interest to either existing Borders businesses or someone who wants to create a space to work.
