Ashludie House, Monifieth

Restoring and converting a B-listed former Hospital Campus to 13, 2 and 3 bedroom new homes
Exterior of renovated building to new homes in Monifieth

Ashludie House sits within the Ashludie Grange development by Miller Homes, and forms part of the regeneration of this historic part of Monifieth. The house sits within grounds of mature trees and has retained much of its original setting.

The B Listed merchants house had, until recently, formed part of the Ashludie Hospital campus and was in desperate need of care and consideration. Working with a local architect and contractor, the building was fully restored and converted into 13 two and three bedroom apartments and houses. The conversion brought the building respectfully into the 21st century with modern building standards, contemporary kitchens and bathrooms.

The ground floor apartments retained the splendour of the highly decorative Victorian ceilings in the principal rooms, with all the apartments sharing the common entrance hall, which has a finely carved staircase and stained glass windows.
