About Our Team:

Whiteburn Projects is responsible for the management and delivery of our new build homes. We are a small team.  To support us in the delivery of our homes we work with a wide and trusted network of Scottish subcontractors and suppliers, professional services and consultancy companies.

We are members of Home For Scotland and actively take part in working groups to represent our industry.

Anna Grant
Sales, Marketing and Office Manager
Anna is often called “IT Anna” as she is our go to woman to solve our problems but more importantly she responsible for the coordination of our digital strategy and maketing campaigns – as well as managing our office and supporting us all! Anna’s career has spanned through industries such as; construction, architectural lighting design, interior design, and architecture. In her spare time Anna loves to travel the world, however is mostly on more local adventures with her German Shepherd, Akira.
Karen Kerr
Architect – Design and Delivery
Karen plays a key role in the design and delivery of Whiteburn’s Lauder and Peebles projects in the Scottish Borders. An Architect and Urban Designer with 30 years’ experience, she brings a strong track record of delivering residential and commercial developments, with expertise in leading design teams, producing technical documentation and navigating complex regulatory requirements. Her portfolio includes large-scale housing projects and the revitalisation of historic buildings, reflecting her ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Based in the Scottish Borders, Karen enjoys campervan trips with her family and dogs, is a keen rugby supporter, pétanque player and artist. She is also active in the local community as an elected community councillor, choir member and registered care professional supporting vulnerable adults.
Keith Anderson
Forklift Driver
Keith is currently based at our Viewforth development and has been with us throughout the delivery of both our Caerlee Mill and Viewforth developments – a real team player! In Keith’s spare time he is jet setting the world on his travels.
Lara
Lara Brown
Cleaner
Lara is responsible for the amazing finish of our homes, cleaning them with lovely environmentally friendly, Miniml, products which she introduced us to. A keen sea swimmer she also spends time on her allotment and looking after her children.
Eddie Zaw
Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Eddie is currently on placement with Whiteburn, gaining hands-on experience across our March Street and Allanbank developments in the Scottish Borders while studying for an MSc in Commercial Management and Quantity Surveying at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. He previously completed a BA (Hons) in Interior Design and has lived, worked and studied in both Singapore and Myanmar. When he’s not on site or studying, Eddie enjoys exploring hiking trails across Scotland and around the world.
Natalie Gilchrist
Client Liaison – New Homes, Allanbank, Lauder
Natalie is from the Scottish Borders and has built her career in the property industry, a sector she is passionate about. As Client Liaison for our upcoming Allanbank development in Lauder, she is looking forward to welcoming customers when the Sales Centre opens and supporting them throughout their home buying journey. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the countryside with her dog.

Johnny is our general labourerer based at Viewforth, Kirkcaldy.
Karen McVie
Business Administration Support
Karen provides Business Administration support for our office. She previously worked in the Financial Services sector, beginning her career with the Royal Bank before moving to Standard Life, where she developed extensive experience across Customer Service, Management Information systems, Project and Test Analysis, and Business Analysis. Outside of work, Karen enjoys travelling and spending time with friends and family, as well as supporting her son throughout his professional rugby career.

The Consumer Code for New Homes has been developed to be of maximum benefit and protection to consumers who buy New Homes sold by registered Developers. We must meet a number of requirements under the Code, to provide a consistently high-quality service at every stage of the sales process.
