May 2022 – The Whiteburn team has been shortlisted as finalist in two prominent Scottish property awards: The Homes for Scotland 2022 and The Scottish Home Awards 2022.

The Whiteburn team has been shortlisted as finalist in two prominent Scottish property awards.

The Homes for Scotland 2022 awards have shortlisted as a finalist Caerlee Mill, Phase 2 in the category Development of the Year – Medium ( 25-49 homes) and Whiteburn Projects Limited has been shortlisted as House Builder of the Year – SME.

The Scottish Home Awards 2022 has shortlisted Caerlee Mill as a finalist in the Housing Development of the Year (Small, Private Sale) and Whiteburn Projects is a finalist as Housebuilder of the Year (Less than 100 units).

Whiteburn Projects managing director, Eve McCurrich said:

“This is wonderful recognition for both the development that we have created at Caerlee Mill, Innerleithen and for the Whiteburn team. To be shortlisted as a finalist as house builder of the year is a testament to the whole team and their hard work, and even more so as Caerlee Mill was Whiteburn Project’s first development as principal contractor. We are proud to have safely managed our sites during the covid pandemic, built a culture of quality construction, created a focus on happy home owners and developed  long term working relationships with our consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and funders.

As an SME we face a lot of challenges working in Scotland, but the support from the industry community is tremendous. I am  looking forward to attending both of the awards ceremonies and having the chance to meet everyone in person again. It’s the prefect excuse for a celebration!”
